Grapefruit-Ginger Bourbon Sour

Ingredients: 1 cup sugar 1 cup water 1 (3-inch) piece fresh ginger, thinly sliced 1 3/4 cup fresh grapefruit juice 1/2 cup fresh lime juice 2 cups bourbon Instructions: Heat sugar, water, and ginger over low heat, stirring frequently, until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and let steep for 30 minutes. Remove ginger and discard. Combine ginger syrup, grapefruit juice, and lime juice. Fill 6 glasses with ice. Add 1/3 cup bourbon and 1/2 cup juice mixture to each glass. Serve immediately.


Pan Seared Scallops with Curried Lemon Butter

Ingredients: 1 lb Sea Scallops, Sustainable preferably 1 1/2-2 tsp curry powder juice of one lemon 3 tbsp ghee (clarified butter) salt and pepper to taste Instructions: Remove the hard muscle from the scallops. Rinse and pat dry. Season with salt and pepper. Heat 1/2 tsp of ghee in a large pan over medium high heat. Place scallops in pan. Saute for two minutes each side. Remove the scallops and set aside. Ingredients: Cocktail 1.5 ounces blueberry flavored vodka 1 tablespoon honey simple syrup 1 (12 ounce) can lemon-flavored DASANI sparkling water Honey Simple Syrup 1/2 cup water 1/2 cup honey Optional Garnishes lemon slices fresh blueberries rosemary sprig Instructions: To make honey simple syrup, combine the water and honey in a small pot over medium low heat. Stir frequently until the honey dissolves, then remove from heat. Allow to cool before using.
